convertible debit Explanation: It depends from which side you look at it. You can have a convertible loan as a loan receivable, that can be converted to shares in the debtor company as Chris S suggests. Or you can be the debtor and issue shares in your company to the creditor and convert your debt into shares. So it really depends on the context. |
