"Transfer" and "assign" are commonly both used in the sense of "överlåta" but "överlåta" is not synonymous with "upplåta" and I would therefore translate "...överlåta, upplåta eller pantsätta..." as "...assign, lease or pledge..." or as"...transfer, lease or pledge..." You should be able to find similar usage on Google with regards to various agreements governing specific rights and obligations.
