Detta avtal träder ikraft när det undertecknats av parterna och gäller på obestämd tid från dagen för avtalets undertecknande. Avtalet kan sägas upp av vardera Parten med en uppsägningstid om tolv (12) månader till utgången av en månad. Uppsägning skall ske skriftligen.

Jag förstår inte vad "till utgången av en månad" syftar på:
1) till utgången av den kalendermånad under vilken slutet av den 12 månader långa uppsägningstiden infaller, eller
2) uppsägning kan ske först när det har gått en månad från avtalets undertecknande, dvs. avtalet slutar att gälla 13 månader efter undertecknandet, eller
3) ett tredje alternativ?

The preposition till means effective on that date cf. zu in DE below

No context given but, in EN landlord and tenant law, notice is given to expire at the end of a period - in DE, *zum* Monatsende einen Mietvertag kündigen means give notice to quit expiring at the end of a month and not given then. Expire means the notice goes into action and the premises have to be quit then e.g. at midnight and not the day before.
