deferred payment interest Explanation: Googles none too well, but if payment is allowed by the Inlland Rev. to be deferred, then it will want a rake-off i.e. payment. I don't think it's 'interest on unpaid tax' as the anstånd bit suggests the tax has been deferred and has not, in fact, fallen due or overdue. Hold-over relief is also a package and not an interest scheme. Example sentence(s):
