Jag gissar att du har problem för att du tänker på "neck" som "hals/nacke" mellan huvud och axlar, men det har fler betydelser. Websters Collage Dictionary: "Neck: 4. Det missade jag, antog att det var från engelska till svenska.
Verkar som svengelsk jagong, och eftersom både "haft" och "neck" är engelska ord som kan passa i en anatomisk kontext så kan du troligtvis låta dem stå oförändrade.
