automatic marketing Explanation: I don't think they are talking about vending machines, but rather about product displays that sell themselves, so to speak, because of the plentiful information. No salespersons are needed. I think of the low staffing ratio at places like IKEA. The customer finds the merchandise, takes it (even if it is a large piece of furniture) from the stockroom and checks out, often without speaking to a single staff person. |
