"kofferdivarv med det nuvarande hamnkontoret som administrationsbyggnad"

I don't have any other context, simply that this kofferdivarv was built.

Merchant navy shipyard (dockyard)
Explanation:
This looks pretty good "kofferdiʹ (lågtyska kopfardie eller nederländska koopvaardij), äldre beteckning för handelssjöfart (mest som förled i sammansättningar)."

For some reading https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kofferdi -- which has merchant navy. Then is sounds like you're where they work on these ships.

commercial yard

Explanation:
Interesting. I agree all derivations of 'kofferdi' above, but what I have not heard of in English is a merchant (navy) shipyard/dockyard. In all anglophone countries I know, we build all types of ship (naval and merchant) in a 'shipyard'. I could only think of it being used to distinguish a commercial yard from a naval yard in the same port, and if you google 'kofferdivarv', you will see all references are to the defunct one in Karlskrona, better known as a naval port.
