Swedish to Italian Other Poetry & Literature un pièce

I'm translating a swedish play and there is a part I just can't translate in order to get it to sound good in italian:

"làt ropen skalla husdjur àt alla"- I don't have problems in getting the meaning about it, but I just can't find a good translation...now I have left it with:
" diamo risonanza ai cani e ai gatti", but I'm not particular fond of the result finding it less striking as the original one.

PS: The context hasn't to do anything about this at all, actually one of the characters is saying it just to interrump with the flow of the discourse.

Can anyone give me a hand?
