Turkish term or phrase: Anadolu yakası
Greetings,

I think the term "Anadolu yakası" was used on TV for the area most affected by recent floods.

Please could you define it exactly?

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

Asian side
Explanation:
Anadolu means Anatolia but it means "Asian" here.
Newspapers usually use "the Asian side" to imply "the Asian side of the Bosphorus".
