The asker posted the previous sentence as well in her previous question. I think this makes it clear:
"Gecmis yillarin modasina uygun dikilmisti. Giyiminin o zamanlarin modasina olan uygunlugu genc kadini gulunclestiriyordu."

The wording of the sentence is somewhat ambiguous. "o zamanların modası" - What did the writer actually reference here? a particular time in the past or the present time?

This isn't directly related to "gülünçleştiriyordu", but "Giyimin o zamanların modasına olan uygunluğu" does not mean "The suitability of the young woman's clothing..." "o zamanların modasına olan" modifies "uygunluğu", so it means something more like "the out-of-datedness of her clothing" (which I admit sounds horrible in English!). This is the subject of "gülünçleştiriyordu" and "genç kadını" is the object. So the whole sentence means: "The datedness of her clothing made the young woman look ridiculous" (using whichever of the options for "gülünçleştiriyordu" you choose from below).
