Context is Salih's discussion note on heli skiing, viz.
Helikopter destekli kayak
Helikopter kayağı tanımına katılmam mümkün değil zira "sanki kayak sporunun helikoptere bağlı olarak yapıldığı" anlamını çağrıştırıyor.
He seems to mean that it isn't possible for him to agree with the definition of heli skiing because it evokes the picture of a type of "skiing practised by fastening the skier to a helicopter with a rope(???)".
I don't understand the meaning of the above phrase at all!

To use sanki in the original viz. sanki kayak sporunun helikoptere bağlı olarak yapıldığı anlamını çağrıştırıyor (It's as if it implies that skiing is done while tied to a helicopter) seems to spoil the balance of the sentence & it could be removed from the sentence without any loss to the meaning. I like Aziz's & Tim's the best. Aziz skirts round the syntactical
