be cool man Explanation: This sentence means, "If one offered to someone a cigarette packet if he takes one, but someone else comes and takes one, the one who offered the packet says "be cool man". "go help yourself" is a more polite expression. |

chillax Explanation: A newly coined word which might be just as casual as the Turkish version. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2014-09-09 12:41:07 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- 'Dude, chill...' might also be an option (note: male) |

take it easy, man/ hey, take it easy Explanation: Relax and some of the other suggestions like stay cool would be fine. But take it easy doesn't carry with it the association slangy and young that "chill" does for example. Another would be " Hey, take it easy...." |

cam down maaan!/calm down will you Explanation: Bir alternatif. Ama konuya ve tercümeye daha yakın. Selam, Aziz -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2014-09-09 16:07:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It should have been calm down maan! Regards, Aziz |
