pain in the ass, pain in the butt Explanation: I would say the above are the closest equivalents in English slang. Let's hope it was used with tongue in cheek! (Perhaps also 'spoilsport' in British English is very close. It is someone who is socially clumsy and in a social setting hinders the smooth flow of social intercourse with inappropriate behaviour or out of place remarks). |
