Paleozoic, ? ,metamorphic, Mesozoic, ? Explanation: I am surprised that you need to ask for the translation of these terms. Such scientific vocabulary, as you see, is more or less universal. I believe 'metamorfit' is a misprint for 'metamorfik'. I also believe that 'seno' is part of the word 'senozoyik', which means (surprise surprise) Senozoic (yet another geological era). Perhaps this word is cut off at the end of a line. |

Explanation: These purely geographical terms can be easily found on any comprehensive dictionary because they do not differ seriously from the Turkish words described. * Paleyozoik (the Turkish word should be Paleozoik) is Paleozoic, the geographical era between the Mesozoic and the Precambrian. * Mesozoyik (the Turkish word should be Mezozoyik) is Mesozoic, the geaographical era between the Paleozoic and Cenozoic. * Seno (the Turkish word should be Senozoik) can not be a single word and should stand for Cenozoic, the most recent geographical era. * Metamorfik is metamorphic, as derived from metamorphosis meaning caused by metamorphosis. * Metamorfit: There is no such geographical term in Turkish like metamorfit and it should be wrongly spelled and certainly is meant for metamorphic. * Tektonik is tectonic meaning of or related to tectonics. * Volkanit, in a similar way is volcanic. All names of eras such as Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic are used with capital letters and with the as they are proper names in the geographical history. P.S. Geographical terms in Turkish are directly taken from foreign words and adapted according to the Turkish pronunciation rules and therefore you can easily find the meanings on any dictionary for further similar terms.
