I've been subtitling since 2007, working on features, short films, TV shows, marketing content and training. I received training at the first production agency I worked with, both on transcription and subtitling, as well as the software - Spot - and have expanded my client base ever since.

Some of my first jobs in translation were in subtitling. I have a great deal of love for films, so it only seemed natural. During my Master's in Literary Translation I focused a great deal on the translation of dialogue, and I feel that's my Unique Selling Point as a subtitler: my ability to truly capture a speaker's tone and translate it in precisely the right register. I've since subtitled 5 feature-length films and a number of corporate videos, particularly interviews.

This is my fastest growing experience field: the specialization during my Master's degree was History of Arts (cinema, theater and contemporary arts) and since 2010, when I worked in my first subtitling project- as state member of the team- for an awarded movie, I've been working on TV series and documentaries subtitling. Softwares used: SUBTITLE WORKSHOP and NETFLIX Originator.

Not long after I became a translator, I taught myself how to use the main subtitle editing softwares out of sheer interest for this activity.
