I use several Mar 8, 2007

I use several - Gmail, Skype, MSN, Yahoo. etc.

It's good to know that MSN and Yahoo users can chat across one another.

However, I am really looking for only one platform which can integrate all the above.

I have heard that recently Jabbar is trying to do this task.

Now a days, I can talk from my personal company email id to gmail account holders. Its really cool.

Mind-blowing technologies are coming up.

I use several in Gaim Mar 8, 2007

Most contacts are MSN. This is a shame as it is so much more restricted than other services. For example, there is a limit on message length. Great features with Gaim are that you have everything in one interface, and you can download a portable version and use it on your USB drive. Then there's message logging, docking, no adverts, etc., etc., ad infinitum.

So everyone, get Gaim, and stop using MSN as your main server!

I use MSN Messenger Mar 8, 2007

It's not that I am a big Microsoft fan, but it seems to be the one that every client uses, so it's almost a must.
Some clients prefer Skype, which has a much nicer GUI, and I use it regularly for making calls to land phones.
Ocasionally, I use Yahoo Messenger too.
I had installed GAIM, but it had less features than the others (for instance, no voice chatting, and you don't have an e-mail instant notifier), and the GUI is really ugly, so I decided to remove it.

If it depended on me, I would choose Skype by sure, but we all know what a tyrant the market is, so I'll have to deal with MSN Messenger for a while...
