I'd like to have a get-together for local translators to try to get some educational events planned for the future for our area.

My suggestion is to have the Powwow at the Long Beach Seaport Village to accommodate as many translators as possible. I'm happy to provide people with directions, etc.

I am also happy to carpool with anyone from the Westside/Beach community area that are interested. I personally live by Marina Del Rey.

401-435 Shoreline Village Dr. Long Beach, CA 90802

Directions are:
from the Northwest - take the 405 South to the 710 South
From the Northeast - take the 10 West (or 60 West) to the 5
south to the 710 south
From San Diego and Orange County - Take the 5 north to the
405 North to the 710 South

Take the 710 south, exit "W SHORELINE DR toward GOLDEN
SHORE"
Turn right onto SHORELINE VILLAGE DR
Make a right into the parking lot for Shoreline Village.
We will meet by the Carousel (the round building) and find
seating around there (you will want to bring a hat and
suntan lotion if you are sensitive to the sun, I will
however try to find us a nice shady spot).
This is a casual get-together, I am trying to set up more
formal get togethers for the future (instructional ones).

I wish I could have come Apr 13, 2008

But I got a 4 manuals to translate and cannot take my Sunday off. Enjoy your Sunday and maybe we could meet another time.
