Bio
My name is Kenny and I live in Gouda. That's right, the city famous in the world for its cheese, though I've noticed that lot of people aren't aware that Gouda is actually a city.

I've studied German, in which language I have obtained my university degree in 2003. Since then I've been working in the field of Dutch linguistics. I've participated in several projects of which the most famous - at least to people who know something of Dutch linguistics - is the so called "Groene Boekje" (translated: Green Booklet), i.e. a book on the correct Dutch spelling, which was reformed (again!) in 2005.
Furthermore, I've worked on the Dictionary of Old Dutch (to appear 2009), which describes the vocbulary of Dutch untill 1201.

I published linguistic articles in Dutch, German and English in international journals and books.

I've recently picked up a study to become translater English > Dutch.
Keywords: German, Dutch, Middle Dutch, Old Dutch, Old High German
