Source text - Polish As we explained before, a low state in AEN line must be established. The 3-input NAND gates
decode remaining address bytes, signalizing appearance of particular 3CO or 3C1 address with a low state (we will soon present the other final decoding method). The NAND gates output signals are brought to the AND input gates. The IOW signal is brought to the second AND gates inputs which causes the appearance of writing information into X and Y registers clocking signals which are in this case 8-bit triggers D type ‘574.
The 8-bit C/A converter converts bytes saved in registers into the analog voltages steering X and Y oscilloscope inputs. A few microseconds after each data saving to the Y register a pair of monostable triggers generates 5µs impulse which lights up chosen place of the screen (each oscilloscopic lamp possesses “Z input” for that purpose).
In order to plot a graph or a set of signs, it’s enough to send cyclically subsequent pairs of coordinates X and Y (first X, than Y). Naturally, it must be done often enough to avoid aye unpleasant picture flashing. Microcomputers are fast enough to send at least a few thousands pairs (X, Y) per second, which prevents onerous flashing. Taking into consideration that in order to display an information in microcomputers, raster visual display is used, the example given may turn out more useful as an ultra-high resolution plotter which produces drawings on the photographic film.

Do drugich wejść bramek AND doprowadza się. sygnał IOW, w wyniku czego na wyjściach tych bramek otrzymuje się sygnały taktujące wpisywaniem informacji do rejestrów X i Y, którymi, w tym przypadku, są ośmiobitowe przerzutniki D typu '574.
Ośmiobitowe przetworniki C/A przetwarzają zapamiętane w rejestrach bajty na napięcia analogowe sterujące wejściami X i Y oscyloskopu. Kilka mikrosekund po każdym zapisie danych do rejestru Y para przerzutników monostabilnych wytwarza impuls o czasie trwania 5 μs który rozświetla wybrane miejsce ekranu (każda lampa oscyloskopowa ma służące temu „wejście Z"). Aby narysować na ekranie wykres lub zestaw znaków wystarczy cyklicznie wysy¬łać kolejne pary współrzędnych X i Y (najpierw X, potem Y). Trzeba to naturalnie robić do¬statecznie często żeby nie wystąpiło nieprzyje¬mne dla oka migotanie obrazu. Mikrokomputery są wystarczająco szybkie aby wysłać co najmniej kilka tysięcy par (X, Y) na sekundę co zapobiega uciążliwemu migotaniu. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt że do wyświetlania informacji w mi¬krokomputerach powszechnie stosuje się rast¬rowe wyświetlanie wizyjne, podany przykład może okazać się bardziej użyteczny jako układ plotera o ultradużej rozdzielczości którego produktem będzie rysunek na kliszy fotograficznej.
