I'm italian and I'm working on a PhD dissertation in italian opera.
I lived some years in Barcelona, and I speak fluently both spanish and catalan. My girlfriend is half catalan half castillan, and we already worked in "team" (to and from italian) to guarantee a higher level of accuracy in the translation of some more difficoult points.
I have to say my english is far worse than spanish, but as I'm an enthusiast traveler, I get in contact with many cultures and languages. I'm an active member of the CouchSurfing international exchange project, so I have the chance to host (or be hosted by) a number of foreign people, mainly english and spanish speaking, but also from all Europe, Americas and other continents.
I'm very interested in all this social networking thing going on, and I would love to collaborate to one of these projects. I think localization is the key to conquer entire new market fields with just some wise and specialized working on details. I think many ambitious project failed because of its failure in localizing enough. Anything worthy in the net should globalize, and I want to help to this aim.
