Bio
I am a free-lance translator in the language pair French-English. My expertise is in Literary Translation and I am also comfortable translating journalism, history, social science, and general interest texts. I have an especially keen ear for dialogue. I possess strong writing skills in my native language.

I lived in Paris for four years and studied French there. My experience has helped me obtain an excellent feel for the nuances of the language. I have a B.A. in French Language and Culture from Hunter College in New York. I have also completed the French-English Translation Certificate Program offered by NYU-SCPS where I studied Literary, Journalist, Medical, Legal, CAT Tools translation and copy editing. I maintained an A average in the program.

I have translated one novel, 'Tell this to My Mother', which was published in January of 2013 for which I did substantial editing.
