Source text - Spanish PLAN DE PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE.
PROYECTO: DISEÑO Y CONSTRUCCION DEL CENTRO DE REHABILITACIO PARA QUEMADOS
UBICACION: VILLA COPACABANA. LA PAZ - BOLIVIA.
El proyecto de construcción del Centro de rehabilitación incorpora los medios necesarios para la protección del medio ambiente durante las ejecuciones de obras civiles, eléctricas y sanitarias.
BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SITIO.
El terreno se encuentra ubicado en la zona de Villa Copacabana. Hacia el Este limita con la Avenida Burgaleta, al Oeste con el Rio Orkojahuira, al Norte con el Hospital Luis Uría y al Sur hacia un área de vivienda
DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL DEL PROYECTO.
El proyecto considera un área de estacionamiento al ingreso del predio rodeado de un área verde con vegetación media y baja.
La construcción del Centro de rehabilitación queda al fondo del predio desde donde se tiene buenas vistas hacia el área verde de una quebrada y al fondo se puede observar la ciudad de La Paz.
DISEÑO Y CONSTRUCCIÓN.
El diseño y construcción de la clínica respaldan los principios medioambientalistas con la arquitectura e ingeniería ecológica. El uso de materiales de construcción renovables y ecológicos, fomenta el objetivo de crear conciencia sobre el uso adecuado de energía y protección del medio ambiente. Los materiales de construcción incluyen piedras, ladrillos y ventanas que permiten admirar la belleza del entorno y su luz natural.
UN AMBIENTE ÓPTIMO PARA LA REHABILITACIÓN.
Una extensa investigación muestra que las características del medio ambiente de una institución médica juega un papel muy importante para promover óptima salud y rehabilitación. Un componente esencial del proyecto es que se enfoca en el paciente y su familia con jardines para la convalecencia, lugares de meditación reflexiva y materiales naturales renovables y ambientales.
Se emplea la luz natural durante el cuidado al paciente y en las aéreas donde trabaja el personal, reduce el uso de energía, proporcionando una conexión importante con la naturaleza y respaldando un mejor ambiente para la convalecencia. Disponer de un jardín para la convalecencia, hoy en día es una característica de diseño y construcción muy habitual entre las entidades médicas y servirá como un lugar de tranquilidad y meditación.
La concepción misma de centro de rehabilitación reduce al máximo el impacto visual en el vecindario en relación a la topografía natural del lugar. Los contornos y vegetación existentes armonizan con la arquitectura de sus alrededores.

PROJECT: DESIGN/BUILD OF HAP BURN REHAB CENTER
LOCATION: VILLA COPACABANA, LA PAZ – BOLIVIA
The construction work of the Rehabilitation Center includes the necessary mediums for the protection of the environment during the execution of the civil works, electrical works and sanitary works.
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDING SITE.
The building site is located in the Zone of Villa Copacabana. To the East borders with Burgaleta Avenue, to the west with the Orkojahuira River, to the North with the Hospital Luis Uría and to the south with a housing area.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project considers a parking area at the entrance of the land surrounded by a green area with half and low vegetation.
The construction of the rehabilitation center stays at the depth of the site building where it has good views toward the green area of a gully and looking forward it’s possible to watch the city of La Paz.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The design and construction of the Hap Burn Rehab Center supports the environmental principles according to the architecture an ecologic engineering. Using renewable and ecologic materials for the construction, encouraging the objective of making up conscience about the proper use of energy and protection of the environment. The construction materials include stones, bricks and windows that let us admire the beauty of the surroundings of the place and it’s natural light.
AN OPTIMUM ATMOSPHERE FOR THE REHABILITATION
An extensive research shows that the characteristic of the environment of a Rehabilitation Center plays a very important role to promote optimal Health and rehabilitation. An essential component of the project is to focus in the patient and his/her family with gardens for the convalescence, places for reflexive meditation and natural renewable materials protecting the environment.
The natural light it’s used for the care of the patient and in the areas where the personnel works, reducing the use of electricity, giving an important connection with the nature and supporting a better environment for the convalescence. Having a garden for the convalescence, in the current days is a characteristic design and a very regular construction among the Medical centers and it will be useful as a place of tranquility and meditation.
The same idea of the Rehabilitation Center reduces to the maximum the visual impact in the Neighborhood in relation to the natural topography. The surroundings and existing vegetations harmonize with the architecture of its surroundings.
