I'm a native Portuguese speaker with proficency in English, German, and Tetun. I have a university degree in Modern Languages and Literature, English and German, and a postgraduate diploma in Translation. I have worked as a permanent translator and as a freelancer with some notable firms and publishers in Portugal and abroad. In this role, I acquired technical and human competencies and became familiar with different sectors and their terminologies such as agriculture, education, justice, economy, administration, media, and machinery, among others. I have very good computer skills and I’m well-equipped with CAT tools, such as Trados, Trados Studio, SDLX, XLIFF, and Logoport.
