I received my university degree (BA) in Foreign Languages (English, French, Russian) in 1994. I spent 1 year in a US college (F&M) working as a TA at the Italian Department, and then took a 1-year post-graduate course in Medical Translation (1999). Since 2000, I've worked for major phamaceutical companies as a professional translator of clinical study protocols. I have also specialized in Insurance Policies, and related documents, such as technical and medical surveys and claims. Currently I work as a certified translator at the Criminal Justice Department of the Law Court in Milan (Italy), and manage a translation agency (www.galactus.eu) offering all language combinations from/into Italian. I am also a teacher at IES Study Abroad in Milan. I teach Italian Language and Culture to American undergraduate students. |
