28 years in the service of the French Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior, of which:
- 28 years as a specialized translator and interpreter as well as an examiner at professional school examinations;
- 16 years in posts of responsibility concerning the following fields: criminal investigations, policing and military police, statistics, intelligence, international cross-boarder relations, relations between administrations (prefecture, emergency services, armed forces);
- 12 years within the French armed forces stationed in Germany in Fribourg-en-Brigau, Villingen-Schwenningen and Donaueschingen;
- 3 years as deputy director of the linguistic training centre of the French Gendarmerie in Melun, France.
