I am a freelance translator residing in and native to the United States. I earned my Bachelor's degree in International Studies from West Virginia University, and I have also studied at universities in Norway, Japan, and South Korea. The academic programs to which I have been a part cover a broad spectrum of subject matter, including history, human rights policy, theories of language, music composition, multicultural education, and international development.

Through my various overseas studies, experiences tutoring and editing English, and genuine passion for language, I came to find my niche in the translation industry. Because my background is a diverse one, I am able to translate in such fields as HR management and business, government, travel and tourism, education, cosmetics, and arts and culture.

My guiding principles as a translator are priority and punctuality. I work diligently, taking every measure necessary to ensure the best possible English rendering for all translations. Further, I pride myself on my responsiveness, and drive to not just meet the deadline–but beat the deadline.
