Bulgarian to English: the principle of freedom
Detailed field: Philosophy
Source text - Bulgarian
Величието на нашето време е в това, че се признава свободата, своеобразието на духа, признава се, че вътре в себе си той е при себе си, че той има това съзнание в себе си. Но това е само абстрактно; защото по-нататък принципът на свободата отново идва до чиста обективност и по такъв начин не всичко, което ми хрумне, което ми мине през ума, е истина, защото то се е открило на мен, а то се прочиства и получава истинската си обективност.
Г. Фр. Хегел "История на философията", т. 3. Прев.Г. Дончев. С., 1982, с. 490.
Translation - English
Our time is great because freedom and the spirit peculiarity are acknowledged - it is recognized that the spirit inside itself is on its own place, that it possesses this consciousness in itself. However, this is only abstract; because of the fact, furthermore, that the principle of freedom reaches pure objectivity again and thus not everything that occurs to me and crosses my mind is true because it has unveiled to me, but because it clarifies itself and gets its real objectivity.
G. Fr. Hegel "A History of Philosophy". Tr. G. Donchev. S., 1983, p. 490.
Barcelona, 1979, p. 13
Translation - Bulgarian
English to Bulgarian: secularization and religious faith
Detailed field: History
Source text - English
Nietzsche, who had so accurately predicted the transmutation of faith into political zealotry and the will to power, failed to see that the religious spirit could, quite illogically, coexist with secularization and resuscitate the dying God. What looked antiquated, even risible, in the 1980s was not religious belief but the confident predictions of its demise once provided by Feuerbach, Marx and Comte, Durkheim and Frazer, Wells, Shaw, Gide and Sartre and countless others.
P. Johnson "A History of the Modern World". London, 1983, p. 698.
Translation - Bulgarian

Bio
I have been interested in foreign languages and translations most of my life. I studied German while being a student at the English Language school. It drew my attention due to the fact that it established links with a multifarious and rich culture. I studied French and Spanish all by myself when I was a soldier. I finished the courses for tourist guides at "Interhotels Balkantourist" during my first year at Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski". I worked as an interpreter in English in 1981 and as a guide in 1984. My diploma work was about the British Balkan policy in 1901-1912.
My post-doctorate was in the sphere of Italian modern social and political history. I had to master this language in order to accomplish my aim. The mix with Spanish was inevitable, but I managed somehow to step out of it. I read and analyzed more than 4000 pages of Italian documents. I was infatuated with this language, music, culture and even soccer to some extent. I fall easily in love with every foreign domain after I am engrossed in the process of getting in closer touch with it and working in it.
I have been working as a teacher at the South-West University in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. I was teaching English-Bulgarian and Bulgarian-English translations. I strove to instil respect towards the rich lexical variety and flexible grammar structures of English in the students. I exacted precise rendering of the meaning in the respective language.
I have translated a few books, legal documents such as deeds and legal contracts. I was made to resort to the most adequate form of expression and translation in my lectures.
