Source text - Spanish Las obras objeto del proyecto consistieron en la construcción de un muelle pilotado, de nueva planta de 495,51 m de longitud y 14 m han sido de calado, que permite la operación de buques tipo Panamax. Para conseguir estos calados ha sido necesaria la realización de un dragado por la parte delantera del muelle hasta la cota -14,00 y del canal de navegación hasta la -1 1 ,50. En la parte trasera del muelle se habilitó una nueva explanada con una superficie de 120.270 m 2, como área de almacenamiento de mercancías para la descarga de los barcos que operan en esta nueva zona portuaria. Sobre la explanada se ha construido una vía de ferrocarril de ancho ibérico.
Translation - English The project consisted of the construction of a dock on piled foundations, with a new layout 495.51 m long with a draft of 14 m, allowing Panamax type vessels to operate at the dock. To achieve these drafts the front part of the dock had to be dredged to -14.00 metres, and the navigation channel to -11.50 metres. A new esplanade with a surface area of 120,270 m2 was created at the rear end of the dock, to be used as a cargo storage area for unloading the vessels operating in the new port area. An Iberian gauge railroad track was built on the esplanade.

Source text - Spanish Los escenarios operativos considerados para el análisis preliminar corresponden al primer y cuarto año de operación de los proyectos (2018-2019 y 2022, respectivamente). El objetivo es analizar la factibilidad de la conexión en la condición más crítica para el sistema, es decir en demanda máxima. En consecuencia, se analiza el escenario de demanda máxima en diciembre de 2018 (520
MW adicionales), el de demanda máxima en octubre de 2019 (1000 MW adicionales) y el de demanda máxima en octubre de 2022. En particular, los escenarios con toda la potencia adicional instalada brindan una visión general de los posibles problemas y limitaciones de la red para años posteriores.
Translation - English The operating scenarios considered for the preliminary analysis correspond to the first and fourth operating years of the projects (2018-2019 and 2022, respectively). The objective is to analyse the feasibility of the connection under the most critical condition for the system, i.e. at maximum demand. Accordingly, the maximum demand scenario in December 2018 (an additional 520MW), the maximum demand in October 2019 (an additional 1000 MW) and the maximum demand in October 2022 have been analysed. In particular, the scenarios with all of the additional installed power provide an overview of the potential network problems and constraints for subsequent years.
