I have been working for Philips Healthcare Scandinavia as a translator, localization manager, training coordinator, customer magazine producer and editor during 2001-2009.

In addition to this, I have been taking on freelance assignments since 1993, and since 2001 my main focus has been the fields of medical technology, medicine and general healthcare. I have experience as a translator in this field since 1996, first 6 years in dialysis, cardiology and neurology, and then 9 years for Philips (imaging diagnostics; X-Ray, CT, MR, nuclear medicine, ultrasound as well as patient monitoring and cardiac care).

As from January 1st, 2010, I have chosen to work full time as a freelance translator.

My background is in marketing and public relations. I have a diploma in Business Communication.
