My main expertise is industrial machinery manuals for automation lines and PLC's. As these differ from one another quite substantially, I have at least elementary knowledge of various aspects of engineering and other areas of technology.  Given that the manuals I translate are used directly by operators of the respective automation lines, I always make 100% sure the instructions are accurate and unambiguous to prevent accidents.

Although I am aware of many problems associated with translations from one's native language into one's second language, I also know that the sheer number of into-English projects exceeds the number of native English translators that would be able to translate from Czech. That is why I cooperate with a native speaker to ensure the accuracy of my L2 translation projects.

As of 7/2020, I work as an in-house, into-English translator at a company manufacturing control systems and providing the means for industrial automation.
