Franco Metayer is a qualified Translator & Interpreter (MA / DPSI), Italian native speaker, Lecturer & Language Teacher with over 20 years experience in the field.

Franco’s experience as a Translator and Interpreter includes working for public service organizations, private companies (the BBC among others) and solicitors firms. His specialist subjects are legal, medical, educational, local government & community, social & current affairs, and advertising. Franco has also a solid experience in information technology, tourism, television & cinema scripts, arts & humanities, sports, and has been dealing occasionally with many other subjects, ranging from alternative / complementary therapies, psychology, history, sociology, geography, classical music, cookery, gardening, photography, animal welfare. He can offer also editing, revision, proofreading, subtitling and voice-over.

Franco is also a lecturer and Member of the Institute for Learning (IfL). His teaching experience includes several years as a Lecturer in various colleges and universities in London, as well as private tuitions.
Franco translates from English and Spanish into Italian and from Italian and Spanish into English. He can be available also for interpreting assignments.
