Actually I was very much fond of learning of different languages since my childhood. I was always among those excellent students of the subject English(as a foreign language in my country) in the school and the university (my major was mechanical engineering). 

As early as eighties of last century when I worked as a mechanical engineer in the huge enterprise Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation, lots of technical English documents came to me and I spent a big part of my energy in reading and translating them during that period of time, which lasted nearly ten years. 

In January 2000, I was hired by AAF, an American filter and dedusting equipment company and sent to their Mexican subsidiary for training, where I started my Spanish learning. Since then, I kept my Spanish learning and perfection by working a lot with the local translation companies in translating various Spanish documents into English/Chinese, or vice versa. 

In one words, I have an engineering background with different work experiences in many engineering fields, which I found have a great benefit for optimizing my translation. In the mean time, because of my translation practice for over 30 years, I am very much welcomed by the translation companies in China.
