I began learning Russian in 2015 when I started a two-year church service mission in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Belarus. On my service mission, I often translated between English and Russian speakers and I freely communicated with the native Russian speakers of the before-mentioned countries. Upon returning home in 2017, I enrolled in college where I am currently seeking a bachelors degree in English with a minor in Russian at Brigham Young University-Idaho.
