Source text - English “Follow the Money” is an abiding principle of election and government-related journalism, and it's the effort to make that process difficult that lies at the heart of Dark Money, a densely packed documentary that earnestly and obsessively addresses campaign finance reform, its history and vital importance. Back in the spotlight since the controversial and game-changing Citizens United Supreme Court ruling of 2010, it's an issue for which the solution could be easily arrived at through decency and common sense, two values that are in short supply in politics and big business. Instead, it's a vexing national problem that Kimberly Reed's film does its best to elucidate.

Source text - English WHENEVER I WOKE UP, night or day, I’d shuffle through the bright marble foyer of my building and go up the block and around the corner where there was a bodega that never closed. I’d get two large coffees with cream and six sugars each, chug the first one in the elevator on the way back up to my apartment, then sip the second one slowly while I watched movies and ate animal crackers and took trazodone and Ambien and Nembutal until I fell asleep again. I lost track of time in this way. Days passed. Weeks. A few months went by. When I thought of it, I ordered delivery from the Thai restaurant across the street, or a tuna salad platter from the diner on First Avenue. I’d wake up to find voice messages on my cell phone from salons or spas confirming appointments I’d booked in my sleep. I always called back to cancel, which I hated doing because I hated talking to people.
Early on in this phase, I had my dirty laundry picked up and clean laundry delivered once a week. It was a comfort to me to hear the torn plastic bags rustle in the draft from the living room windows. I liked catching whiffs of the fresh laundry smell while I dozed off on the sofa. But after a while, it was too much trouble to gather up all the dirty clothes and stuff them in the laundry bag. And the sound of my own washer and dryer interfered with my sleep. So I just threw away my dirty underpants. All the old pairs reminded me of Trevor, anyway. For a while, tacky lingerie from Victoria’s Secret kept showing up in the mail—frilly fuchsia and lime green thongs and teddies and baby-doll nightgowns, each sealed in a clear plastic Baggie. I stuffed the little Baggies into the closet and went commando. An occasional package from Barneys or Saks provided me with men’s pajamas and other things I couldn’t remember ordering—cashmere socks, graphic T-shirts, designer jeans.
Translation - Persian (Farsi) هر وقت که بیدار می‌شدم، شب یا روز، لخ‌لخ کنان از میان سرسرای مرمری روشن ساختمان محل زندگی‌ام می‌گذشتم و به بالای خیابان و سر نبش می‌رفتم؛ جایی که دکه‌ی اغذیه‌فروشی‌ای داشت که هیچ‌وقت بسته نمی‌شد. دو قهوه بزرگ با خامه و شش قاشق شکر در هرکدام می‌گرفتم، اولی را یک‌ضرب در آسانسور توی راه برگشت به آپارتمانم سر می‌کشیدم، بعد دومی را آرام‌آرام در حال خوردن بیسکوییت نمکی با شکل حیوانات وقت تماشای فیلم جرعه‌جرعه می‌نوشیدم، قرص ترازودون و آمبین و نمبوتال می‌خوردم تا دوباره خوابم ببرد. به همین ترتیب زمان از دستم دررفت. روزها گذشتند، هفته‌ها. چند ماه سپری شد. فکرش را که می‌کردم، از رستوران تایلندی آن‌طرف خیابان غذای بیرون‌بر سفارش می‌دادم یا بشقابی سالاد تن از غذاخوری خیابان فرست . بیدار که می‌شدم پیام‌های صوتی از طرف سالن‌های آرایش یا اسپا روی تلفن همراهم دریافت می‌کردم برای تائید وقت‌هایی که در خواب رزرو کرده بودم. همیشه دوباره به آن‌ها زنگ می‌زدم تا قرار را لغو کنم که البته از این کار متنفر بودم؛ چون از حرف زدن با آدم‌ها متنفر بودم.
اوایل این برهه، هفته‌ای یک‌بار لباس‌های کثیفم را برای شستشو می‌دادم و تمیزها را دم در دریافت می‌کردم. شنیدن صدای خش‌خش کیسه‌های پلاستیکی پاره در نسیم خنکی که از پنجره‌ی اتاق پذیرایی می‌وزید، آرامش‌بخش بود. دوست داشتم وقتی روی مبل چرت می‌زنم گه‌گداری بوی لباس‌های تازه شسته شده را استشمام کنم؛ اما پس از مدتی جمع‌کردن تمام لباس‌های کثیف و چپاندن‌شان توی کیسه‌های لباس‌های چرک دیگر زیادی دردسر داشت و صدای ماشین لباس‌شویی و خشک‌کن خودم، مزاحم خوابم می‌شد. برای همین دیگر لباس‌زیرهای کثیف را دور می‌انداختم. درهرحال تمام قدیمی‌ها من را یاد ترور می‌انداختند. مدتی لباس‌زیرهای بنجل ویکتوریا سیکرت سر از صندوق پستی‌ام درآوردند، صورتی روشن توردار و لامباداهای سبز لیمویی و پیراهن‌های خواب با طرح خرس تدی و عروسکی که هرکدام در کیسه‌های پلاستیکی شفافی بسته‌بندی شده بودند. کیسه‌ها کوچک را می‌چپاندم توی کمد و بدون لباس‌زیر سر می‌کردم. گاه‌وبیگاه بسته‌ای از بارنیز یا ساکس پیژامه‌های مردانه و چیزهای دیگری که یادم نمی‌آمد سفارش داده‌ام برایم می‌آورد، جوراب‌های کشمیر، تی‌شرت‌های گرافیکی و شلوار جین‌های مارک‌دار.
