Source text - English The falling leaves showed in a rich profusion of golds, yellows, reds, and browns. The air was thin and dry, but warmed by the sun.
He enjoyed every season, and he enjoyed the changing look of the countryside from month to month, he enjoyed the chill in the air, and he liked to watch men swing their scythes in those efficient repetitive motions to cut and gather the stalks of wheat. He liked the taste of freshly pressed cider during autumn. He loved the harvest parties that peasant villages held, with wild dancing and ancient unfashionable music, and Mr. Darcy loved to order rounds of ale and beer to be distributed to his tenants at Pemberley in celebration of the momentous event of another successful year and another successful harvest.
He liked it when the rain fell, and he liked it when the sun shined.
He didn’t like the shorter days of winter, when it seemed a man had only half finished his day’s work and it already was dark, but he did like the cold chapping at his face, and settling into his exposed cheeks as he rode, the wind blowing past him in winter, and he did like the appearance of snow on a bare landscape, and he liked when there was an icy chill on the air that made a man more grateful than ever for his happy and warm home.
He loved seeing the profusion of colors as the reddish setting sun glinted through thin clouds to gleam off of a white colored field of snow in winter. He loved the green bursting of sprouts in spring, and he loved the rich smell of thick growth everywhere during summer.

Source text - English Fossils indicate that the evolutionary line leading to us had achieved a substantially upright posture by around 4 million years ago, then began to increase in body size and in relative brain size around 2.5 million years ago. Those protohumans are generally known as Australopithecus africanus, Homo habilis, and Homo erectus, which apparently evolved into each other in that sequence. Although Homo erectus, the stage reached around 1.7 million years ago, was close to us modern humans in body size, its brain size was still barely half of ours. Stone tools became common around 2.5 million years ago, but they were merely the crudest of flaked or battered stones. In zoological significance and distinctiveness, Homo erectus was more than an ape, but still much less than a modern human.
All of that human history, for the first 5 or 6 million years after our origins about 7 million years ago, remained confined to Africa. The first human ancestor to spread beyond Africa was Homo erectus, as is attested by fossils discovered on the Southeast Asian island of Java and conventionally known as Java man (see Figure 1.1). The oldest Java "man" fossils— of course, they may actually have belonged to a Java woman—have usually been assumed to date from about a million years ago. However, it has recently been argued that they actually date from 1.8 million years ago. (Strictly speaking, the name Homo erectus belongs to these Javan fossils, and the African fossils classified as Homo erectus may warrant a different name.) At present, the earliest unquestioned evidence for humans in Europe stems from around half a million years ago, but there are claims of an earlier presence. One would certainly assume that the colonization of Asia also permitted the simultaneous colonization of Europe, since Eurasia is a single landmass not bisected by major barriers.

Source text - French Pour les géologues, c’est la présence de cristaux de zircon dans les roches terrestres les plus anciennes qui signe la présence d’eau liquide terrestre dès cette époque. Née 200 millions d’années auparavant, notre planète s’est formée à partir de l’accumulation de poussières et de roches en orbite autour du soleil. En quelques dizaines de millions d’années, sous l’effet des collisions et de la radioactivité, cet amas est entré en fusion et sa rotation sur lui-même l’a transformé en une boule incandescente. Peu à peu, l’ensemble s’est refroidi et les gaz produits par le magma ont constitué une première atmosphère riche en vapeur d’eau.
On ne sait pas exactement d’où est venue toute cette eau. Le magma en avait sans doute émis, mais le premiers gaz ont probablement été balayés par les vents solaires, avant que la formation du noyau terrestre ne protège l’atmosphère grâce à un bouclier magnétique. Les comètes et les météorites en apportaient aussi. Cependant, l’étude de la comète Tchouri a montré en 2014 que toute l’eau terrestre ne pouvait venir de ce type de corps célestes. Il semble que certaines météorites solides, les chondrites carbonées, aient également joué un rôle. Le débat sur la proportion des eaux primitive n’est toujours pas clos.
Dès ses débuts, la Terre présente un avantage sur les autres planètes du Système solaire, puisqu’elle se situe précisément à la bonne distance du Soleil pour que l’eau puisse exister sous les trois états : solide, gazeux, et surtout, liquide. C’est dans l’eau que, très vite, se produisent les premières réactions chimiques qui aboutiront à l’apparition de la vie.

football event, both as a translator and interpreter.

October 2022, I’ve started a cooperation with Tempio Pausania Courthouse as a translator and interpreter.
I've got a good knowledge of the Travel & Tourism field, since I worked for 12 years at the Booking Department of a Hotel chain in Sardinia. My main
duties were taking reservations and solving any problems that could arise, from the first
contact until the end of the guest's stay.
Also, as this company cooperates with the
main tour operators and a lot of travel agencies, several brochures are issued
every year, so I've often taken care of editing the texts in Italian (that is
my mother tongue), English (language of specialisation), French and German.
Since I had to do above all with foreign clients, my job has frequently
included the translation of the required services into English orFrench.
Besides this job, in the past, I
cooperated with a website which offered a service of subtitle translation free
of charge and I had the opportunity to get to know the software Subtitles
Workshop.
