After
completing my literary translation studies and a Master’s degree in English
Literatures I had the opportunity to translate Alexandra Bracken’s “Brightly
Woven” (Aus Licht gewoben) into German. After working for a language services
provider for three years, I am now offering English to German translations to
individual clients. My areas of expertise include (but are not limited to)
marketing, advertisement and media as well as literary and journalistic texts.
An avid cook myself, I am also happy to translate texts concerning food, such
as recipes or cookbooks, nutrition and foodstuffs or menus. I am, of course,
also willing and able to thoroughly research your specific topic. I work with
Trados Studio to assure consistent translations for return customers. Feel free

As a native
German with a completed course of linguistic studies and experience in
translation and proofreading through my previous work at a large language
services provider I am the ideal candidate to proofread your novel or text. I
am especially sensitive to spotting translations that may be a little too close
to the source text, which leads to a text that does it feel totally authentic.
This is a very common problem and can be fixed by having any translation
proofread. Grammatical and spelling errors are of course just as common if you
have worked on a text for a while and have stopped spotting them. Here, I can help
