Hi and welcome to my profile!

First of all, let's start with the presentations.

My name is Alessio Strano, I am a freelance translator.

My journey as a professional linguist started in 2017 with audiovisual translation. In fact, still to this day, it is my main field of expertise (especially regarding youtube videos).

Not only that, I also was lucky enough to serve an internship at a translation agency, where I learned most of the core skills necessary for this profession, such as the use of SDL Trados 2019, the main CAT Tool I use.

Most recently, I have been enrolled by Keyword Studios Italy as a Junior Reviewer for videogame texts and marketing.

Furthermore, I think it is necessary to spend a couple of words on my educational background.

I have studied Translation Studies at University and was awarded a bachelor degree in this subject in October 2019. Not only that, I am currently specializing in advertising and communication at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, as it is my main area of expertise.
