Bio
Greetings.

My name is Ashley Zou. I'm a native Mandarin Chinese speaker based in China. I create Chinese subtitles and translate English subtitles into Chinese and vice versa. Since 2021, I've been working on English - Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) projects as well.

I translated Netflix Original Series and dozens of hit series for several clients. So far I have translated TV series, films, reality shows, documentaries and animations adding up to almost 5000 program hours.

Most recently I have been working on a crime thriller TV series. Now it's the fourth season I've been working on and it will hit the screen in Oct, 2021.

In terms of qualifications, I have a BA degree in English Language and Literature.

I am creative, adaptable and always up for a challenge. Ethics and sustainability are important to me and I strive to honour these values in all areas of my life.
