Современная инфраструктура трубопроводного транспорта представляет собой сложную, распределенную систему, состоящую из большого числа технических сооружений и устройств. Контроль состояния данной системы, является сложной задачей, вследствие, необходимости учета множества факторов и параметров. Что обуславливает необходимость разработки автоматических систем оперативного диспетчерского контроля и диагностики. Работа таких систем направлена на сбор данных технологических процессов, с целью оперативного предоставления, удобной для анализа, информации диспетчеру. Наибольший интерес представляют системы, которые автоматизируют анализ поступающей информации и своевременно оповещают диспетчера об отклонениях величин контролируемых параметров от заданных нормативных значений, что может привести или является следствием аварийных ситуаций.
В последнее время, все больше увеличивается актуальность решения задачи своевременного обнаружения аварийных ситуаций, связанных с разгерметизацией трубопровода. Первая причина разгерметизации – образование свищей и трещин в различных узлах трубопровода. Второй причиной разгерметизации являются несанкционированные врезки в трубопровод с целью хищения перекачиваемой нефти или нефтепродукта. Экономический ущерб от подобных происшествий может быть огромен.

The infrastructure of a modern pipeline transfer is a complex, highly developed system, which includes a large number of technical facilities and devices. Due to the numerous factors and parameters that must be taken into consideration, monitoring the status of these systems is a formidable challenge. This justifies the development of an automatic system for operational central control, and diagnostics. The main purpose of such a system is to acquire information on the work flow and its delivery to the dispatcher, in a form suitable for analysis. The systems, which provide automatic analysis of incoming data, and prompt notification to the dispatcher about deviations of the monitored parameters from a planned specification , which may cause or be the consequence of an emergency situation, appear most promising.
Nowadays, early detection of an emergency situation, created by the depressurization of a pipeline, has become a very serious issue. The first cause of depressurization is the formation of “blue holes” and cracks in the joint connections of a pipeline. The second – is unauthorized connections to a pipeline for the purpose of stealing of the oil and the oil products that are being pumped. The economic loss from such incidents could be overwhelming.
