Source text - English This test ensures that the x-ray field aligns with the light field. The collimation must cover the entire image receptor and should not extend beyond any edge of the image receptor by more than 2% of the source-to- image receptor distance (SID). The test also ensures that the chest-wall edge of the compression plate aligns with the chest-wall edge of the film. If the test fails corrective action needs to be taken within 30 days.
Translation - Bulgarian Този тест гарантира, че полето на рентгеновите лъчи съвпада със светлинното поле. Колимацията трябва да покрива целия рецептор на изображения и не трябва да се простира извън който и да е край на рецептора на изображения с повече от 2% от разстоянието между източника и рецептора (SID). Тестът освен това гарантира, че ръбът откъм гръдната стена на компресиращата пластина е изравнен с ръба откъм гръдната стена на филма. Ако тестът не бъде преминат успешно, трябва да бъде предприето корективно действие в рамките на 30 дни.
