BACKGROUND:
I am bilingual and bicultural. Born and raised in France but now living in the USA, I have proficiently juggled the languages while sharing my time equally in both countries for the past 16 years. Living a "double life" provides me with the unique opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of both languages, allowing me to excel in interpretation and translation.

My professional life began in the French medical industry. However, in 1994, I found my niche in the American music business. I produced a successful fundraiser in New Orleans at the House of Blues, benefiting an elderly musician unable to support herself. That event attracted the attention of the local music industry who began soliciting my services for booking overseas, as well as for interpretation and translation jobs in both France and the United States. I have had the fortune to interpret for artists like B.B. King, Van Morrison, and many others at world renowned events including the Nice Jazz Festival (Nice, France). Fast-paced music festival press conferences and simultaneous interpretation for radio have challenged my skills, making interpreting both fun and rewarding. While being a perfectionist has its stresses, providing the best service on the spot is gratifying and essential. In addition, the less intense but equally important jobs of translating and revising documents in various fields has allowed me to perfect my bilingual written voice, going well beyond the scope of entertainment. I love working in the comfort of my home office and am now focusing on translation and voice over projects. I feel fortunate to have been hired by translation companies that have given me the opportunity to work on very interesting projects. Additionally, I own a professional digital audio recording studio (providing voice over capability) and delivered a guide for family and friends of rape victims in French deemed "fantastic" by the client.
