My work as a language service provider builds on more than 20 years of English instruction and 13 years of professional experience working as a freelance translator, having gained translation qualifications and expertise in business, educational, legal and medical translations. I provide a wide range of services, including translation (certified/uncertified), proofreading, editing and localization services to German and Spanish companies. I am a Chartered Linguist (certified translator) through the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK and have court-authorised status from the regional court of Wiesbaden (Landgericht Wiesbaden). I strive to meet the individual needs of all my clients and uphold confidentiality at all times.

While born and raised in Southern California, I am currently based in Wiesbaden and am very well acquainted with the German language and culture, having lived in the country for more than 20 years. I am also familiar with British culture and UK dialect, as I completed my Master degree in Translation Studies at the University of Bristol in the UK and have more than 20 years of experience teaching British English while working as an EFL teacher. Previous employment opportunities have also given me valuable knowledge of specialised terminology, which I use while translating texts from a variety of  fields and industries, such as the food, cosmetic, healthcare, real estate and promotional product industries.
