Japanese to English: HEV batteries General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Translation - English 2)Types of HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle)
EV (Electrical Vehicle) literally means a car with only battery and motor, without the requirement for an engine. In other words, the engine becomes the equivalent of the motor, and the battery becomes the equivalent of gasoline. Also, since the battery produced direct current (DC), in order to run the motor, conversion to alternating current (AC) through an inverter is required. HEV has an engine and motor, and the battery used as driving force for the motor and inverter are used together. This HEV is broadly of two types - 2motor and 1 motor.
In 2-motor system, the power of the engine is divided at epicyclic axis, and engine power is shared between output axis and power generator. the power from the generator is used for either recharging or motor based on situation. For example, in the Toyota "Prius", there are three modes of usage - engine power forwarded to the car wheels, power generated in the engine to run the motor, and shut-down the engine and run purely from the motor.
Honda's Accord Hybrid has a single motor system. In single motor system, the vehicle mainly runs from the engine only, and the motor is only used for assistance during acceleration, and regenerate energy during deceleration. In Prius, motor is used during start-up time, while on the Accord Hybrid, starting is done using an engine equipped with idling-stop capability. HEV cars like Prius that have the capability to run purely based on battery and motor (without using engine) are called "Strong Hybrid Cars", and HEV's that are not equipped with this capability to purely run on battery and motor, are called "Mild Hybrid Cars".
PHEV (Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle) refers to cars that are capable of getting charged at consumer's house, but not just that, they are also known to have a longer mileage while running on motor only, compared to HEV. On HEV's, a distance of 5Km is possible by running on motor, while on the PHEV, a distance of 50 - 60 km is possible due to increased capacity loaded battery. This also makes the battery cost higher.

We have a Japanese language school that trains people to write the prestigious Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) conducted by the Government of Japan to access proficiency in japanese language. We train nearly 40 studens every year and help the students to get trained in Japan for teaching and in other fields.
We have a group of potential translators from our school who can work for nominal rates providing high quality translation on time. Our rates of translation are normally
Japanese to English : 0.06USD / English word
English to Japanese : 0.08USD/English word.
These rates are negotiable depending upon the content and volume of translation material.
