I am a British freelance translator with over 25 years' experience. I provide translation services to marketing and translation agencies and private clients in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and London.
Specialist areas:
Marketing and Advertising - I have a strong marketing background and can offer creative solutions where non-literal translations are required for advertising, business presentations and websites.
Tourism - I have collaborated on the translation and editing of 2 major tourism websites for over 12 years. I worked at the international tourism trade fair FITUR for several years and I was the representative for the BarcelóGroup (one of the Spanish team's main sponsors) during the Olympic Games 2012 in London.
Gastronomy - Spanish cuisine is a personal passion that has become one of my specialist areas. In 2020 I completed a 200,000-word Balearic Island food and restaurant guide.
