Onderzoek laat een een vergote lever met een onnatuurlijke blauw/paarse kleur zien. Genezing is in de regel niet mogelijk, maar een preventieve medicatie is mogelijk met name vlak voor en tijdens het broedseizoen. Please read this guide for the correct handling procedures before using the product. Keep this guide handy for future reference. Safety Precautions Symbols used in this manual The symbols shown below appear in this manual and on the product. They are intended to ensure the safe use of your new product, and to prevent property damage and injury to you and others. The meanings of these symbols are explained below. Danger This symbol marks important instructions that, if ignored or incorrectly followed, could lead to death or serious injury. Warning This symbol marks important instructions that, if ignored or incorrectly followed, could conceivably lead to death or serious injury. Sample Symbols Indicates a prohibited action. A circle with a symbol inside indicates a specific prohibited action. Sample @ Meaning: Disassembly Prohibited Indicates compulsory matters. To ensure safe operation of your new equipment, please observe the following precautions. Do not disassemble, alter or solder the battery directly to an object. Do not short-circuit the positive ( ) and negative (–) terminals of the battery with wire or other metallic objects. Moreover, do not transport or store the battery with metallic ball pens, necklaces or similar metaric items. Do not expose the battery to direct heat or flame, and do not use or store it near a fire or a location, such as an automobile, subject to high temperatures. In addition, do not immerse or dampen the battery in water, saltwater, or any liquid. Do not charge the battery with equipment other than a Ricoh battery charger. Use of the battery is limited to DB‑65 compatible Ricoh digital cameras. Do not puncture the battery any sharp objects, hit it with a hammer or similar device, step on it, drop it or subject it to strong shock. Do not use a battery if it is damaged or deformed. Use the battery for the specified purposes only. Immediately cease use of the battery if it produces strange smells or smoke or becomes abnormally hot. Please request repair service from the retail outlet from which you purchased the product or a Ricoh service center. If the battery fluids leak and come into contact with an eye, do not rub the eye and immediately flush it with plenty of water before seeking medical assistance. Place the battery out of the reach of children and infants. Cease recharging the battery if it continues to recharge even after the specified recharge time period has been exceeded. Do not place the battery in microwave ovens or other high-voltage appliances. If a battery leaks or emits fumes, immediately remove it from the vicinity of heat or flame. Handling Precautions This is a lithium ion battery. Charge the battery before use since the battery is not fully charged when it is shipped. CAUTION: Risk of fire and burns. Do not open the casing, burn, crush, or incinerate the battery, or heat it above 60 °C. Follow manufacturer instructions. The characteristics of lithium batteries are such that, at cold temperatures, the performance of even fully charged cells will decrease, reducing the available shooting or playback time. Counter this by keeping the batteries warm in a pocket next to your body before use or by having a spare charged battery available. Always remove the battery from the camera or battery charger when it is not in use. The battery continues to discharge small amounts of electricity even when the power is off , which reduces the battery life. When storing for an extended period of time, charge for 15 minutes at least once a year, draining it complete before storing it again. Store the battery in a cool, dry place. A temperature range of 15° to 25° Celsius (59° to 77° Fahrenheit) is optimal. Avoid extremely hot or cold locations. Do not immediately charge a fully recharged battery a second time. Charging the battery at high temperatures may result in a drop in performance. Charging at low temperatures may result in an insufficient charge. When used at room temperature (25° Celsius), the battery may be charged for 300 or more cycles. A marked drop in the length of time the battery can be used when fully charged indicates that the battery has reached the end of its charging life and must be replaced. Replace only with RICOH-recommended batteries. For charging instructions, please see the instruction booklet accompanying your digital camera or battery charger. Batteries should be disposed of under rules appointed by the government or the local authorities. When using the BJ‑6, the charge is approximately 2.5 hours (at 25° Celsius). Laad de batterij op voor gebruik. De batterij is immers niet volledig opgeladen wanneer ze wordt geleverd. OPGELET: Brand- en verbrandingsgevaar. Open de behuizing niet, verbrand of verbrijzel de batterij niet of zorg ervoor dat ze niet wordt blootgesteld aan temperaturen boven 60ºC. Volg de instructies van de fabrikant op. De eigenschappen van een lithiumbatterij zijn zo dat, bij koude temperaturen de prestatie van zelfs volledig opgeladen cellen zullen afnemen, waardoor de beschikbare opname- of afspeeltijd vermindert. Werk dit tegen door de batterijen warm in uw zak tegen uw lichaam te steken voor gebruik of door een opgeladen reservebatterij bij de hand te hebben. Verwijder de batterij steeds uit de camera en de oplader wanneer u ze niet gebruikt. De batterij blijft kleine hoeveelheden elektriciteit afgeven, zelfs wanneer de stroom is uitgeschakeld, wat de levensduur van de batterij verkort. Wanneer u de batterij voor lange tijd bewaart, laad ze dan minstens één maal per jaar op gedurende 15 minuten en gebruik ze dan weer volledig op voordat u ze opnieuw wegstopt. Bewaar de batterij op een koele, droge plaats. Een temperatuurbereik van 15°C tot 25°C is optimaal. Vermijd extreem warme of koude locaties. Laad een volledig opgeladen batterij niet onmiddellijk opnieuw op. Als u de batterij oplaadt bij hoge temperaturen, kan dit leiden tot een slechtere prestatie.
