Pd.D.-level German professor at elite liberal arts institution. I specialize in literary and cultural translation from German into English. I provide a thorough knowledge of German literary, intellectual and cultural history which translates into culturally-aware translations.

I've translated a number of academic articles for professional journals as well as the truly complex and difficult novel "Learning Processes with a Deadly Outcome" by Alexander Kluge. I am currently preparing a translation of Kluge's "Geschichte und Eigensinn."
