Rox-Edling . I purchased this tool about two or three years ago, and I am really, really happy with it. What are the main advantages?
* easy and comprehensive customization of the GUI
* Drag&Drop for many functions
* auto-completion (nearly) from the first occurrence of a word
* auto-assembly feature
* Matchboard: all resources at a glance
* "Total Recall" feature for really big TMs
* support of diverse speech recognition solutions
* easy import & export of Studio packages and memoQ files
* cross-platform (I am working on Mac and sometimes on Windows)
Indeed, it is a Swiss army knife, a kind of MacGyver among the CAT or TEnT tools.
There is the lack of a manual and comprehensive documentation that is a bit annoying. You need to invest some time, to search the forum and you must be willing to use this tool, but the learning curve will be steep and the tool will pay back quite soon.
Does it have some other flaws, then? Yes, it has a few, but that would be complaining on a really very high level, and it is not more and not worse than any other tool, and - very important - fortunately it has a very active user forum and a developer who's listening and implementing new features rather fast, at least in most cases faster than other software vendors.
Another important detail is that it is also bundled with the ProZ.com Plus package, so it has no additional costs for Plus members.

Hans Lenting . CafeTran is a superb tool. It never crashes and it is rich of smart features that really matter when you want to be productive. This tool has many unique features that cannot be found in any other CAT tool.
Sublime handling of Transit, Studio, Déjà Vu and memoQ files.
Because of the lack of a printed manual I rate the learning curve of this tool with 3 stars (Somewhat easy to learn).

Luisa Antunes . Hands down, the best CAT tool out there. Intuitive, problem solver instead of problem generator like other CAT tools. Created by a fellow translator and it shows. Constant updates and very fast and efficient user support.
