University of Cologne, Germany, German for Scientific Purposes, German - Marketing, OTHER-University of Cologne, Germany, CIOB - Chartered Institute of Building , IEMA - Institute of Environmental Management AHK German - British Chamber of Industry & Commerce 41 years of experience for University Professors, CEO & Managing Directors in Germany, Austria, Britain, etc. Mission Statement With my US-GB background and strong academic background and credentials, hard work, help and encouragement, fluent in German at age 15, working in a German bank at 18, I progressed to study business and law at Cologne University, also translating a 300 page Do-It-Yourself Fachberater (Experts Guide) from age 21. 1982. Headhunted to translated academic and demoscopic studies, political science articles by the Managing director of the National Bank of Austria at 25, I continued freelancing as a translator. Simply put, the Austrian and I spent a day in the hills in Scotland. I was the guide, and the rest as they say is history;. In 2004 I was headhunted to work developing a DIBt Zulassung in Britain (BBA Certificate), so translated numerous laboratory test results, for vhF, construction technology Germany and Austria excel in. Suspended, back-ventilated rainscreen facades. And in 2020 this work continues. For 8 years I now work 100 % as a German - English translator, following 33 years when I combined it with other work/studies, Europe-wide! In 2019, I then translated an interesting 262 page academic book, German - English Lone Wolves, The New Terrorism of Right-Wing Single Actors, Dr. Florian Hartleb. https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783030361525 In 1986 my work was already being published in Wiener Zeitung (Asylland Österreich) - Asylum Country Austria, and finding a major importer of German construction products and know-how (Glass, metal, terracotta panels, Schüco,...) in 2004 gave me a basis to build on, after I translated many laboratory tests, expert reports, DIN Standards, operating instructions, visited German factories and structural design engineers for years, repeatedly.
