Jason, it is now sufficiently cool that I had to take a look. I figured it was not worth it for my small business, since I just do invoicing in Word documents. But you convinced me! Good work. | | | José Nolasco El Salvador Local time: 10:02 English to Spanish + ... Excelent Job Jason! | Mar 20, 2009 |

Thank you Jason, | Mar 24, 2009 |
I already used the new invoice service and it worked perfectly. It is really thoughtful of you to provide us with all these new financial report facilitating features as this really helps us organize our business better. I am in the process of studying and thinking to make use of at least a couple of them for the time being. Thanks again, Albana

Hi Christiane, You can specify your tax ID on your company settings page (in the "Financial information" section). I hope this helps. Thanks for your answer Jason. I find this Invoicing tool absolutely fantastic. I already transfered all my invoices. However, I think we need a financial overwiew showing the total amount invoiced before tax. Is it possible to display the Sales without taxes and then add a "Tax" column on the right? This would be very useful when one wants to know what his//her real... Arkadiusz Hi Arkadiusz, I think you are wise to be cautious about protecting your invoicing data. I agree that the security of this information is very important. If you don't feel comfortable entrusting this data to an online service I can understand and respect that decision. To better understand how ProZ.com secures and protects the privacy of invoicing data, please see the invoice security page. Also, this FAQ and the one following it describe precisely who has access to invoice data, and under what conditions. Best regards, Jason | | | But who knows what can happen with them | Mar 31, 2009 |

Dear Jason, Thank You for Your comments. Protection is not the matter - it is obvious that Proz can deliver high-level security solutions. The matter is how Proz.com staff can use the gathered information (sell the information, generate the reports, analyse the market). Simply saying, good way to make money Kind Regards, Arkadiusz

Simply saying, good way to make money Hi Arkadiusz, Invoicing data is private, period. The links I gave above are explicit about how invoicing data will be used. For example, the FAQs say "Invoice data is treated as confidential, and will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing or other purposes inconsistent with providing support and maintaining and improving the service" and "Information included in an invoice is not made available to others or used for any other purpose." This service is wonderful and just what I needed. I did notice, though, that if I place a series of zeros before an invoice number, they are taken away when the invoice is published. For example, if I have a prefix of 2009 and an invoice number of 0001, the number is published as 20091. I'd prefer it if it were consistently eight digits, or 20090001. That way as the year progresses, my reference number remains the same size: 20091004, 20090305, etc. etc. Can the magic machine do tha... See more This service is wonderful and just what I needed. Allison Hi Allison, Auto-incremented invoice numbers should now work properly with leading zeros. Please let me know if there's still any problem. Thanks for pointing this out, and thanks for your kind words.
