Is there going to be a program at all for Sunday? I really want to make my mind up as to whether I should come (from Paris) for the Saturday as a day-return or whether I should come for both days. Needless to say, the lack of a program for Sunday doesn't bode well for the latter option.
I mean, don't get me wrong: I think the program so far is positively bitching, but I need to book my tickets and accommodation for either one or two days and for that I need to know what will be on ... I agree with Alan. So far, the most interesting topics seem to be on Saturday MORNING. Which means that most of us will miss them. I.E: I will fly in from Germany and will have to get up as early as 5 am to catch the plane and nonetheless will not be able to attend any lessons before lunchtime. I would prefer the main seminars Saturday AFTERNOON and Sunday morning to allow more people to attend. I mean, who will really be able to fly in on Friday and leave on Monday? I will be flying in from Norway on Friday and leaving on Monday. I also agree with Alan - I think the programme is 'bitching' (?)

I would really like to see all the interesting seminars and lectures on Saturday am more spread out so I could go to all ( or nearly all at least) of them. I am sure there are others who would like to do the same.

Or maybe have some of the lectures repeated on Sunday? It looks like you would have to commit to the programmes in one praticular room at the beginning of the day or otherwise miss breaks/lunch/the beginning or end of lectures in the other rooms.

But you all knew, the Convention takes place on Saturday and Sunday. To assume, it will start late on Saturday was not right, as GF posted a program draft full for BOTH days. See things other way round - I come on Friday and leave on Sunday...
There was, is and will not be a way to get all happy.
But I think the programm is flexible, and that Henry will adapt it a bit.

Hi all,
Like some others, I've already asked the organisers (Gianfranco, Henry et al.) to at least provide for workshops/group sessions to be held at times when they won't clash with the main events (welcoming, keynote address etc.).
This seems to correspond to Anette's wish to have the events 'more spread out' in order to be able to attend more of them.

I totally agree with Anette. While we have three different rooms with three different topics on Saturday morning, the day seems to be less structured and full on Sunday. I think it does not only depend on Henry, but I am sure, if there is a lot of interest, the various topics might get repeated.

.....with only a week left until the Oxford meeting Saturday is still full with many conflicts while Sunday seems to be almost free. This makes planning and hotel reservations difficult.

With only a week left, I fully understand if it's too late to organise this, but I'd like to make a suggestion anyway.
I believe a couple of people are bringing their partners to Oxford, and although they won't be taking part in the actual conference, it would be really nice if we were all able to have lunch together.(Obviously, non-registered people would have to pay for this privilege!) In my case at least, it would be particularly useful on the Sunday, as my husband and I have to leave ... Husbands, wifes or friends that wish to join us for lunch are welcome. We just need to know in advance to estimate the total number of meals to order. They would have to pay for their lunch, of course, as we are charged per person. Just write to me. Thank you.

As far as I am aware there is a dinner at Saturday night. I thought it would be nice to have friends / partners etc. joining us there.
If this is possible I'd like to book two places for the Saturday night dinner.
